Turkish Consulate Voter Survey
Survey and follow-up interviews with Turkish expat voters
In May of 2023 Turkish citizens living in the US convened at various consulates across the country to cast their votes for the next president of Turkey. With the help of an undergraduate RA team, I administered a survey of four straightforward, non-political questions that were not objectionable or ethically contentious given the election context. RAs handed out QR codes from the public sidewalks surrounding the consulates in Chicago and New York. Analysis of this survey data contributed to my dissertation research.
